As your birth doula, I will provide daytime support by phone, text, or email from the time you sign on until 38 weeks, then be on-call for you 24/7 until birth. We’ll meet at least twice during pregnancy to explore your birth preferences, discuss coping techniques, review postpartum plans, and go over when to call me and what to expect at your birth location. When labor begins, I’ll join you at your chosen birth place, offering continuous emotional support, comfort measures, labor positions, and guidance for you and your support team. I’ll stay 1–2 hours after birth to assist with latching and ensure you’re settling into postpartum well. For cesarean births, I will accompany you into the OR if permitted; otherwise, I’ll meet you in recovery for emotional and feeding support. We’ll also meet at least twice postpartum to review your birth experience, check in on feeding and newborn care, support your transition into new family roles, and provide referrals or additional postpartum doula options if needed.
